Once upon a time was born a feeling<\/p>\n
that soon grew and frolicked among us freely.<\/p>\n
Made us drunk and happy, day and night<\/p>\n
and shone on us like no other weary light.<\/p>\n
“Love” we called it and it sang so sweetly,<\/p>\n
enchanted all the living, lifting swiftly.<\/p>\n
And only with an instant, flimsy grasp<\/p>\n
it held our hearts and tickled them till gasp.<\/p>\n
From mortal beasts turned into puppet dolls,<\/p>\n
we were dancers with twirled heads and flying souls.<\/p>\n
One day the Gods and Goddesses got frankly bored.<\/p>\n
Daring thunders shook the grounds: they snored.<\/p>\n
What they felt \u2026 Well, \u201cenvy\u201d is hardly the word…<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s say, it was a time for change in the tender world.<\/p>\n
Then, in just a moment, amid the colors of the vivid Earth<\/p>\n
to many sneaky, twisted feelings was given birth.<\/p>\n
Soon they chased all who were in love,<\/p>\n
until there were no other but the Gods to think of.<\/p>\n
….Thereafter<\/p>\n
was to be no more joyful laughter<\/p>\n
and giggly sounds…<\/p>\n
Only bitter, jealous hearts<\/p>\n
in the wicked dance of doubts!<\/p>\n
And to this vacuous present day love hides<\/p>\n
within the noble hearts and clear minds.<\/p>\n
Only those, worthy to be it\u2019s warm and cozy lair,<\/p>\n
shall feel true love and share it with care.<\/p>\n
